TeakOrigin

Editorial Consulting, Messaging, Content Strategy

Food-tech startup TeakOrigin launched with an innovative solution, and a big communications problem.

Their team of scientists and engineers created a way to quantify and compare produce quality in regional grocery stores in close-to-real time. The problem? This breakthrough technology solved a problem consumers didn’t know existed.

I worked with TeakOrigin’s executive team, engineers and scientists to create editorial strategy, branding, communications assets, and company talking points to help communicate their technology and the reality of food nutrient depletion.

Clear and concise website copy.

I created website copy that made technical information accessible to laypeople. This copy matched TeakOrigin’s mission, and tone, to educate and inspire consumers rather than motivate them with fear.

This copy allowed users to easily navigate informational pages, learn, and understand data from the database itself.

Multimedia assets that speaks directly to consumers.

I helped TeakOrigin address and educate consumers and interested parties directly without confusion or condescension.

These assets included consistent, concise, and clear communication across video scripts, executive presentations and speeches, and multimedia educational material including this linked video.

Effective content strategy.

TeakOrigin had plenty of good ideas and angles, but needed help deciding who they were talking to, and delivering them into well-written, convincing, and timely pieces that hit the mark.

I helped TeakOrigin identify their audience segments, and make easy to understand content, like blog posts and explainers, that followed consistent guidelines and met regular production timelines.
